CNN Fact Checkers Admit Kamala Harris is Lying About Project 25 and Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is under fire for its handling of Project 2025.

A CNN fact-check has exposed the campaign’s strategy of intentionally mislabeling former President Donald Trump’s policies.

Project 2025 is a joint effort by The Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups to develop plans for the next administration.

It’s not tied to any specific candidate and aims to be nonpartisan.

A Harris campaign official made a revealing statement to CNN:

“The campaign has ‘made a deliberate decision to brand all of Trump’s policies’ as ‘Project 2025,’ since they believe ‘it has stuck with voters.'”

This approach has led to some questionable claims about Project 2025 and Trump’s positions.

At a recent rally, Harris claimed: “When you read it, you will see Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare.”

Fact-checkers have challenged these statements.

CNN’s review of the “Mandate for Leadership” document, which outlines Project 2025’s ideas, found no plans to cut Social Security.

In fact, the program is barely mentioned.

Trump has denied any connection to Project 2025, calling such links “disinformation put out by the Radical Left Democrat Thugs.”

Other media outlets have joined the fact-checking effort.

VERIFY disproved a rumor that Project 2025 wanted to end individualized education plans.

USA Today labeled as false the claim that “Project 2025 is a plan from Trump.”

As the presidential race gains momentum, voters will need to carefully assess campaign statements and seek out accurate information about candidates’ stances and policy proposals.
