The Department of Government Efficiency has published a new report detailing federal savings following President Trump’s directive to terminate DEI-related contracts.
The total savings amount to over $1 billion across 104 contracts, significantly cutting costs in multiple federal agencies.
Notable reductions include:
– $228 million saved at USAID
– $110 million at the Department of Agriculture
– $45 million at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
– $28 million at the Department of Health and Human Services
– $25 million at the Department of Treasury
– $19.9 million at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) saw one of the largest single cuts, with nearly $495 million in savings.
Well done and a fantastic start to DOGE!
