Fani Willis and her boyfriend Nathan Wade just got some bad news and their legal careers may be over soon.
Both have been referred to the Georgia state bar over ethics complaints and both may lose their license to practice law as a result.
Via Just the News:
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and the special prosecutor she appointed to the Trump election case, Nathan Wade, are both facing ethics complaints from the American Accountability Foundation, a conservative watchdog group, which has asked the Georgia state bar to begin disciplinary proceedings against the duo.
The foundation alleges that Wade lied under oath about his romantic relationship with Willis and that Willis admitted on the witness stand to using her campaign money for personal expenses, Fox News reported Thursday.
“To ensure that the citizens of Fulton County and the State of Georgia understand that the Bar will not countenance any violation of its ethics by those charged with upholding it, we urge you to revoke Ms. Willis’ license to practice law and permanently bar her from practicing law,” the complaint states. The foundation makes the same request in another complaint against Wade.
This couldn’t be happening to nicer people and we hope the Georgia state bar association throws the book at these two.
They are disgrace to the State of Georgia, the legal profession, and to themselves.
This should also be an example to those who try to subvert justice for political gain.
As they say, fuck around and find out.
