Now it’s official.
Donald Trump will be the GOP nominee for 2024 and Joe Biden will be the Democratic Party nominee for 2024.
But will it be a fair election?
They say a picture can be worth a thousand words so here is what the rematch is going to look like brutally summed up by a single cartoon:
Sadly, that about sums it up.
Trump will face Joe Biden and a lawfare and media smear campaign designed to keep control of the White House in the hands of the Democrats.
Despicable and unprecedented really. Democrats are exactly what they accuse Trump of being.
The good news is not all is lost. Democrats got at least a little smack down in the past 24 hours from Scott McAfee the judge in the Georgia election interference trial:
In a significant development in the Georgia 2020 election case, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has dismissed several charges against former President Donald Trump.
While this ruling quashes six counts from the indictment, including three against Trump himself, the majority of the charges remain in place.
Judge McAfee’s decision, outlined in court documents, stated that “As written, these six counts contain all the essential elements of the crimes but fail to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission, i.e., the underlying felony solicited.”

This ruling suggests that while the dismissed charges may have had merit, they lacked the specificity required to move forward in the legal process.
Despite pleading not guilty to all charges, the former president still faces 10 of the original 13 counts brought against him in this case.
This is good news but there is still a very long road ahead for former President Donald Trump and for this nation.
