In a recent Instagram video, “Yellowstone” actor Forrie J. Smith revealed that he was removed from a flight at a Houston, Texas airport after expressing discomfort with being seated next to a passenger wearing a face mask.
Smith, who has over half a million followers on the platform, shared his frustration with the situation, admitting that he had been drinking while waiting at the airport for three hours.
The actor’s video, captioned with hashtags such as #cowboy, #country, #western, and #yellowstone, began with him stating, “You know my social media people tell me that you like me face to face, but you know what I can’t say face to face what I want.” He then proceeded to recount the incident, explaining that he was kicked off the plane for informing the airline staff that he felt uncomfortable sitting next to someone wearing a mask.

Smith’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and the specific airline and reasons for his removal from the flight remain unclear.
However, this is not the first time the actor has faced challenges due to his stance on COVID-19 protocols.
In 2022, Smith was unable to attend the Screen Actor’s Guild awards due to strict requirements that attendees be vaccinated, have a booster shot, provide a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the show, and wear a mask.
At the time, Smith apologized to his followers in a since-deleted Instagram video, stating, “I want to apologize to y’all for not being at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. I mean no offense to anyone. I’m not vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to be vaccinated.”
He further elaborated on his position, saying, “I will not get vaccinated. I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. Never will. I believe they compromise your immunities.”
