INVASION: Hundreds of Migrants Burst Through Razor Wire, Attack National Guardsman

In a chaotic incident that unfolded on Thursday in El Paso, Texas, a group of over 300 illegal immigrants, including about 100 adult males, burst through razor wire and rushed towards the border wall.

The scene, captured on video by the New York Post, showed the migrants tearing away the razor wire set up by the state and charging past Texas National Guardsmen.

According to a Texas law enforcement source, one family unit was allowed through, which triggered the melee. The source told Fox News that one individual has been arrested so far for assaulting a soldier, and more arrests are likely to follow for destruction of property and assault.

In the video, a soldier can be heard yelling, “Get the f— back!” at the migrants from the other side of the fence.

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, confirmed to Fox News Digital that all migrants involved in the incident have been apprehended. Authorities are currently reviewing video footage to identify those who assaulted the soldiers.

The migrants will be processed for deportation but maintain the right to claim asylum. Additionally, Texas has the authority to charge the individuals who assaulted the soldiers.

This incident highlights the ongoing border crisis, which has seen record numbers of migrants attempting to cross into the United States.

In fiscal year 2023 alone, there were 2.4 million border encounters. While numbers have dropped since the peak of 302,000 in December, concerns remain that the figures could rise again as the summer months approach.

Texas has implemented various border security measures to address the influx of illegal immigration, many of which have faced opposition from the Biden administration.

Federal officials have cut the razor wire, leading to a lawsuit, and the administration has also sued over Texas’ deployment of buoys into the Rio Grande.
