Liz Cheney Goes Off the Rails With Hysterical New ‘Trump’ Warning, Gets Brutally Mocked Online

Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney has once again stoked the flames of controversy, suggesting a reelected Donald Trump could potentially lead the United States down a dark path similar to that of Russia, where political opponents are allegedly silenced with impunity.

In a recent interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Cheney drew a parallel between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has been widely accused of ordering the assassination of political adversary Alexei Navalny.

“When you think about Donald Trump, for example, pledging retribution, what Vladimir Putin did to Navalny is what retribution looks like in a country where the leader is not subject to the rule of law,” she warned. She then added: “I think that we have to take Donald Trump very seriously.”

Navalny, a 47-year-old Russian opposition politician, reportedly died while exercising at an Arctic penal colony last week.

Although the official explanation for his death remains undetermined, Putin’s critics in the West have vehemently claimed that the Russian leader orchestrated the killing.

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has been a vocal critic of both Trump and Putin.

She has urged Speaker Mike Johnson to pass a substantial new aid package to bolster Volodymyr Zelensky’s government and armed forces in Ukraine, even if it means sacrificing his Speakership.

“He’s going to have to explain to future generations to his kids, to his grandkids whether or not he did what was right, whether or not he was a force for good and aided the cause of freedom, or whether he continued down this path of cowardice and doing what Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin wanted him to do,” Cheney asserted.

Cheney’s unyielding stance against Trump and Putin has raised questions about her true political allegiances.

Her fervent calls for action against Russia and her unabashed criticism of Trump’s leadership style have led some to speculate that she may have effectively transformed into a Democrat.

Indeed, Cheney’s relentless fear-mongering and divisive rhetoric have only served to widen the political chasm in the United States.

Perhaps it is time for Cheney to declare herself a Democrat or, better yet, to step away from the limelight entirely.

Her unyielding hatred for Trump and seemingly reflexive support for the Democratic agenda have left many questioning her true motives and the sincerity of her convictions.
