Trump Jr. Claims Alleged Iranian Plot Against His Father is ‘Greatest Political Endorsement Ever’

Donald Trump Jr.’s reaction to reports of an Iranian plot against his father has gone viral.

Speaking on “Hannity” at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, he called it “maybe the greatest political endorsement ever.”

“When people like Iran want to take you out, that probably means it’s good for America, bad for Iran,” Trump Jr. said.

His father, former President Donald Trump, appeared at the convention with a bandage on his right ear for the second day in a row.

The Department of Homeland Security claimed to have learned about the Iranian plot from a undisclosed source.

This supposedly led to more protection for the former president lately. Officials are worried about Trump attending outdoor events because of these threats.

But apparently the Secret Service is not worried enough about the threat to put agents on roofs that have slopes, according to Secret Service Director and Jill Biden pal Kim Cheatle.

This Iranian plan isn’t linked to the recent shooting at Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to the DHS. That incident involved a 20-year-old named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Iran’s UN mission denies these claims, calling them “unsubstantiated and malicious.”

Trump Jr.’s reaction to a question about his father on Tuesday were different from his emotional reaction the day before.

He teared up when his father arrived at the GOP convention.

When asked about it, Trump Jr. joked it was allergies, saying, “Not a lot of crying in the Trump family, but that moment, it was so heavy.”
